Collegiate Mentorship Program

The Collegiate Relations Committee is in the beginning stage of designing a mentoring program between our members and our collegians. The mentoring program would assist those collegians who plan on going directly into the workforce after graduation, and those who are choosing to attend graduate school. We have collegians in specific areas of study who either need guidance with the path they have chosen, want to determine if their course of study is for them, or simply have questions they would like answered. Each mentor would be paired up with one mentee. If there is interest in this program, we want to commence it in January.

Words of Wisdom Book

One of the areas in which Lambda Omicron mentioned that they would like advice/assistance is with programming ideas/suggestions and advice/assistance for their chairs and officers. Lambda Omicron just held their elections at the end of last month and are likely in the transition phase. Since part of the “Kindling a Flame” program is to assist our adopted collegiate chapter in any way possible, the Collegiate Relations Committee has decided to create a “Words of Wisdom” book for the chapter.
